Information, pre-contractual documents and contractual terms relating to legal services may be provided in English where the client or prospective client requests, accepts or continues communication in English.

A consumer who does not understand English should inform the attorney before requesting or accepting communication, documents or services in English.

This is without prejudice to information requirements applicable under Section 4(1)(g) of Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection, as amended, and other applicable legal rules.

Any complaint or request for remedy concerning the services or the use of this website may be addressed directly to the attorney using the contact details stated in Section 1 of this Legal Notice.

Complaints concerning the professional conduct of an attorney may also be addressed to the Slovak Bar Association, Kolárska 4, 813 42 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, or submitted through the official website www.sak.sk.

If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may, under the conditions laid down by Act No. 391/2015 Coll. on Alternative Resolution of Consumer Disputes, as amended, submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to a competent ADR entity.

The list of ADR entities is maintained by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. Where no other ADR entity is competent, the Slovak Trade Inspection generally acts as the residual ADR body for consumer disputes, except for disputes falling within excluded or special-sector competence.

The consumer’s right to bring the matter before a competent court remains unaffected.

The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued and is no longer available.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, legal relationships arising from the use of this website or the provision of legal services shall be governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.

This is without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules, private international law rules and jurisdiction rules that may apply to consumers or to cross-border matters.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory legal rules provide otherwise.

This website does not contain pricing lists or specific offers of legal services for a fixed price.

The fee for legal services is determined individually by agreement between the attorney and the client, in accordance with Regulation of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic No. 655/2004 Coll. on Fees and Remuneration of Attorneys, as amended, where applicable.
