2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device when you visit a website.

Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers or other technologies that store information on your device or access information already stored on your device.

In this Cookie Notice, we use the term “cookies” to refer to cookies and similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

3. Summary of the current website setup

The current website setup is limited and does not use a broad optional-cookie stack.

  • Cloudflare Turnstile is used for contact form anti-spam protection.
  • Vercel Web Analytics is used for pageview analytics only.
  • Tatra Legal does not intentionally set its own first-party tracking cookies for ordinary browsing.
  • No advertising cookies are implemented.
  • No remarketing scripts are implemented.
  • No Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager is implemented.
  • No marketing pixels are implemented.
  • No newsletter tracking is implemented.
  • No website cookie-consent tool is currently implemented.

4. Strictly necessary website and security technologies

The website may use strictly necessary technologies for website operation, security, routing, hosting, deployment, abuse prevention and delivery of services requested by users.

These technologies are used to make the website available, keep it secure, prevent misuse and enable requested features such as contact form submission.

Current infrastructure includes Vercel for website hosting and deployment, Websupport for domain and e-mail infrastructure as configured, and Cloudflare Turnstile for contact form anti-spam protection.

5. Cloudflare Turnstile and anti-spam protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact forms to help distinguish genuine users from automated submissions and spam.

The website loads the Cloudflare Turnstile client script from https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/api.js?render=explicit and explicitly renders the widget where the active contact form is displayed. The resulting token is sent with the form submission and verified server-side through Cloudflare Siteverify at https://challenges.cloudflare.com/turnstile/v0/siteverify.

Cloudflare Turnstile may involve technical information such as browser, device, interaction and network information. Cloudflare challenge, security cookies or similar technologies may be used depending on Cloudflare’s operation, configuration, challenge state and browser context.

Cookie examples

Cloudflare challenge or security cookies that may appear depending on configuration and context include cf_clearance and internal challenge platform cookies such as cf_chl_rc_i, cf_chl_rc_ni and cf_chl_rc_m.

The exact cookie behaviour and retention are controlled by Cloudflare and may depend on configuration, challenge state and browser context. These technologies are used for security and anti-spam purposes, not for marketing or advertising.

6. Vercel Web Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for pageview-level analytics so that we can understand basic website use, maintain and improve the website and assess whether the website works effectively.

The current implementation is limited to pageview analytics. It does not implement custom analytics events, contact form submission tracking or form-content tracking.

Analytics event URLs are configured to strip query strings and URL hashes before analytics events are sent.

Vercel Web Analytics event data may include fields such as event type, timestamp, project or owner identifiers, session or device identifiers, origin and path. Analytics data retention follows the applicable Vercel product or account configuration.

No analytics cookie names are intentionally configured by Tatra Legal in the current implementation.

7. Technologies not currently used

The current website does not implement:

  • advertising cookies;
  • remarketing scripts;
  • Google Analytics;
  • Google Tag Manager;
  • marketing pixels;
  • newsletter tracking;
  • custom analytics events;
  • contact form submission tracking;
  • form-content tracking;
  • a website cookie banner or consent-management platform.

If the implementation is expanded in the future to include non-essential cookies or comparable technologies that require consent, a consent mechanism and the notices will be reviewed and updated before use.

8. How you can manage cookies

There is currently no website cookie preference tool because the current implementation does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, remarketing scripts, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or a broader optional-cookie stack.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block, delete or manage cookies. If you block certain cookies, some website features, including security checks or contact form protection, may not work properly.

If a future implementation adds non-essential cookies or comparable technologies requiring consent, a consent mechanism and this Cookie Notice will be reviewed and updated before such use.

9. Changes to this Cookie Notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time, especially if we change the website, analytics tool, anti-spam tool, cookie-consent setup, hosting providers or legal requirements.

The current version will be published on this website.
